Throughout Betty's lifelong career in public service, housing, and community development, she has gained the experience and practical understanding to lead with compassion, fairness, and accountability. Through her leadership, she has helped communities through both ongoing challenges and moments of crisis. In the Legislature, Betty has fought for working families on housing affordability, public education, healthcare, environmental justice, and economic security. She deeply believes every person deserves to be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect. Villegas remains committed to leading with integrity and fighting for issues that matter most to our communities.
